Eligibility Criteria For the UN Careers
For work with the UN, several credentials are needed depending on the position. Candidates typically need to be at least 18 years old, in possession of a valid passport, are eligible to work legally in the country where the post is located, and possess at least two years of relevant work experience. Candidates must also demonstrate their proficiency in at least one of the six UN official languages (English, French, Spanish, Chinese, Russian, and Arabic). There can be extra specific requirements for some vocations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Candidates must have the following prerequisites and credentials in order to be eligible for UN Jobs in Dubai:
- a graduate degree in a similar field from a university.
- a great deal of actual experience in the area.
- outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
- functioning effectively in multicultural settings and with individuals of varied ethnic backgrounds with a strong commitment to the UN’s objectives and tenets.
- A master’s degree in a pertinent field or extensive work experience in a related field would be excellent.
- knowledge of at least one official language of the UN.
- the ability to use computers and the appropriate software.
- working knowledge of other relevant legal documents, including the UN Charter.
- English writing and speaking proficiency are requirements.
- understanding of current issues in international development.
