1: Assistant Vice President – Enterprise Risk – short term 2 – Design
JOB PURPOSE
- Responsible for leading the design, implementation and maintenance of the risk management framework within Aldar in line with the strategic plans. This includes developing and maintaining detailed risk management policies and processes and working with key business stakeholders to facilitate the embedding of these across Aldar.
- Responsible for developing, rolling out and consolidating the Group’s Business Continuity Plan
Roles And Responsibilities
- Support to key business stakeholders in implementing Aldar’s risk framework
- Support in the design, documentation, communication and implementation of Aldar’s Risk Management and Business Continuity frameworks
- Assist in the development, maintain and communicate detailed risk management policies and processes including the quarterly assessment process
- Design and implement the policy compliance process applicable for all Aldar’s policies .
- Support in the quarterly risks assessment and annual policy compliance processes, working with business stakeholders and 3rd party providers where appropriate.
- Review, assess and report significant risks and issues identified or reported by the business in line with the incident management process and assist the business in defining and agreeing remedial action.
- Prepare and collate quarterly risk reporting to the Risk Management committee including monitoring of mitigation plans.
- Support the management with the annual Business Continuity Plan within the Aldar Group companies.
- Assist key business stakeholders in identifying and responding effectively to risks arising from internal changes or external events.
- Keep track with any update with regards Risk Management policy and ensure that this is embedded in core processes and individual roles within the company.
YoE / QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
RELATED YEAR OF EXPERIENCE
Min of: 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Risk Management functions for large organizations ideally within the real estate industry.
YOE IN MANAGERIAL POSITION
Min of: 2+ years in a managerial position leading a corporate risk function.
Sector Experience
Retail estate sector, construction, financial services, or consulting.
Technical And Interpersonal Skills
- Excellent knowledge of industry best risk management practice including regulatory requirements
- Experience in developing and implementing risk management/business continuity policies and processes.
- Ability to understand and articulate the commercial benefits of effective risk management
- Excellent communication, relationship management and influencing skills
- Ability to build and maintain effective internal and external relationships
- Ability to analyze, present and report risk management data to senior stakeholders
- Ability to provide and respond to challenge at senior/executive level
QUALIFICATION
Bachelor degree in Bachelor degree in finance, or engineering.
Certification in Enterprise Risk Management
2: Vice President – Software Engineering – Retail Leasing
Job Purpose
Lead Software Engineering team, to enable successful transition towards Agile and DevOps delivering applications that enhance Enterprise solutions.
Role & Responsibilities
- Challenge normal legacy processes and positively disrupt to deliver Agile solutions
- Use digital story telling skills and lead Design workshops in identifying best User journey.
- Build automation of Infrastructure and workloads for build, Test and Deploy ensuring highest level of performance, resilience and quality across all ALDAR applications.
- Lead and build team that delivers applications with clean and efficient code using MEAN, MEVN, LAMP (MongoDB and Python) while ensuring stringent compliance on Security & Governance.
- Use Agile methodologies and Tech stack Azure Cloud Ecosystem , JIRA, Node JS, React JS, React Native, Dockers/Kubernetes to create ultra-scalable and reliable digital applications
- Understand and utilize skills of Site Reliability Engineering to deliver applications at scale
- Develop plan, and approve technical decisions for Software Engineering and deploying two Speed architecture at scale
- Partner with GDS, Business and external entities to ensure solutions are scalable, available, secure, and delivering value.
- Drive 12 factor app principals and Microservices architecture using Kubernetes & cloud native application frameworks
- Ensure Enterprise Architecture governance models are complied during all stages of development
- Build working relationships with stakeholders to deliver digital services using emerging technology like Cloud, Robotics, iOT, Natural Interfaces, 3D Printing, Cognitive Systems, AI/ML etc.
- Lead Intelligent Process Automation using RPA, Digital Assistants, NLP in delivering tangible automation used cases
Related Years Of Experience
- 10 years in Software Development with minimum 5 years hands on experience in developing large Digital solutions in Cloud.
Years Of Experience In Managerial Role
Min of 4 years leading teams building Digital solutions that have scaled globally
Field Of Experience
- GAMMA (Google, Amazon, Microsoft Azure, Meta, Apple) organizations
- TECHNICAL AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
- Demonstrated expertise of DevOps, Cloud models/ Architecture, SRE and AGILE
- Built and delivered Intelligent Process Automation (RPA, Digital Assistants)
- Understanding of MicroService Architecture, Design patterns, Test driven development
- Strong in API development, deployment and governance
- Built solutions using AR/VR delivering immersive experience
- Understand principals of AI/ML and incorporate into Application frameworks
- Expert in conducting design thinking workshops
Qualification
- Bachelor degree in Computer science, Math etc. & Masters in Software Engineering or related fields
